Privacy Policy

1. 100% Client-Side Utility Execution

WebWizard is architected as a static, client-side web application. All data you input into our tools—including generated passwords, passphrases, QR code URLs, Pomodoro tasks, unit conversions, color palettes, and ambient audio mixes—is processed exclusively inside your web browser. We do not operate a backend database to collect, transmit, or store your tool inputs.

2. First-Party Local Browser Storage (localStorage)

To improve your user experience across sessions, WebWizard stores non-sensitive interface preferences locally on your device using HTML5 window.localStorage:

  • theme: Stores your selected Light Mode or Dark Mode preference.
  • webwizard-recent-tools: Stores your Recently Used tools history and your Cookie Consent Mode V2 choice.
  • webwizard-pomodoro-tasks: Stores the to-do tasks and estimated Pomodoro counts you create inside the Pomodoro Timer.

You may clear these records at any time using the in-app Clear buttons or your browser's site data settings.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies Disclosure

In compliance with Google AdSense Publisher Policies and Google Consent Mode V2 requirements, please take note of the following mandatory disclosures regarding third-party advertising cookies:

  • Third-Party Vendors & Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
  • Google's Advertising Cookie: Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick / Google advertising cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to WebWizard and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Opting Out of Google Personalized Ads: Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Opting Out of Third-Party Vendor Cookies (aboutads.info): Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

4. Google Consent Mode V2 & Cookie Banner Controls

By default, WebWizard initializes Google Consent Mode V2 with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage set to "denied", and blocks the Google AdSense script from executing until you explicitly click Accept All Cookies in our Cookie Consent Banner.

For additional information on our usage terms, please review our Terms of Service or learn more on our About Page.
